Antique Writing Desk with Five Drawers, Turned Legs & Hidden Side Cupboard

A distinctive antique writing desk with warm wood tones, beautifully turned legs, and a gently sloped writing surface. Its asymmetrical silhouette pairs a five-drawer pedestal with an open kneehole framed by a softly shaped apron.

Round wooden knobs and individual keyholes accent the drawer fronts, while a discreet paneled door on the outer side opens to additional shelved storage. This unexpected cupboard gives the desk a particularly thoughtful, practical design.

A lovely anchor for a study, library, or bedroom writing corner, with the character and presence to sit comfortably among collected antiques.

Shipping & Delivery: Complimentary shipping within the contiguous United States is included in the listed price. Most furniture is delivered via independent white-glove or blanket-wrap carriers. Additional charges may apply for remote locations or special delivery requirements.

Because deliveries are coordinated based on destination and route availability, most orders arrive within 2–6 weeks of purchase. While we work closely with our shipping partners and will keep you updated throughout the process, transit schedules are ultimately determined by the carrier and may occasionally change. We appreciate your patience, as this method ensures your antique arrives safely.

While damage during shipment is not expected, it can occasionally occur. Cavalier Collect is not responsible for damage caused by third-party shipping providers while a piece is in their care. Should your piece arrive damaged, please photograph the item and packaging and notify both the carrier and Cavalier Collect promptly. I care deeply about each piece arriving safely and will gladly assist with communication, documentation, and working toward a resolution.
