Antique German Pine Glass Front Cupboard | European Farmhouse Hutch | Primitive Pine Cabinet
Description
A beautiful antique pine cupboard originating from Germany with wonderfully warm, timeworn character and an especially charming narrow profile. Constructed in solid pine, the piece features a tall glass-front upper cabinet, smaller inset doors through the center, two drawers, and a generous enclosed cabinet below.
The softly arched crown, turned front feet, old hardware, visible joinery, and years of natural wear give this cupboard the character that makes antique pine so special. The darker wood work surface provides a lovely contrast against the warm pine and emphasizes the piece’s utilitarian origins.
Behind the upper glass doors are open shelves ideal for displaying collected pottery, ironstone, books, glassware, or serving pieces. The smaller center cabinet is lined with mesh instead of glass, ideal for foods that needed ventilation. The lower cupboard provides additional concealed storage, making this a particularly versatile piece for a kitchen, dining room, pantry, living space, or bathroom. The lower cabinet does have a shelf that is not pictured.
Its unusually shallow 17” depth makes it an excellent choice where substantial storage and height are desired without the footprint of a deeper armoire or hutch.
A wonderfully characterful piece of antique pine that brings warmth, texture, and old-world European farmhouse charm to a room.
